Personal:

I've never been much of a runner but last year I signed up for the Ogden Marathon and started training in January.  After experiencing some transcendental moments running up Emigration Canyon, I got hooked.  I wanted to run the Top of Utah this last year, but life derailed those plans.  I love Mizuno, I have a lucky visor, and I've not ventured into the obligatory Garmin/track your pace world yet - but I'm close.

Ran up City Creek today.  It has been incredibly warm this fall and I started out with gloves and a long sleeve shirt.  It was way too much and I ended up running in the tanktop carrying the gloves.

Left the house kind of late (10:00 am) and didn't intend to run that long.  Got out there and it felt pretty good, so I decided to run the downtown loop.  I think I need to not run in so much traffic.  I irritated some gang bangers who almost hit me, had to wait too much for traffic, and flipped off some kids who probably thought they were being funny.  Why do people honk at people running?  It's irritating because it pulls you out of your zone and then it's just rude.  These people were dumb, sitting at a stoplight, honking rudely at someone hopped up on adrenaline.  All in all, not a bad run.  Very warm today also.
